The Seahawks, fueled by the humiliation of their Thanksgiving Day defeat to the Niners, are poised to rebound strongly. This setback has likely added an extra layer of motivation, and I believe it positions them favorably to at least cover the spread. Despite their loss to the Cowboys, Seattle showcased a lot of heart and never gave up. In essence, my perspective is that San Francisco is giving up an excessive number of points to a divisional rival. The 49ers are currently favored by 14 points, marking their largest point spread since 2011 when they faced the Pittsburgh Steelers. Notably, the Steelers emerged victorious in that matchup with a convincing 24-0 win. With or without Geno Smith, I think Seattle will cover the spread and lose by no more than 13 points.
