San Francisco Giants vs New York Yankees (12:05pm)

This looks like a great buy-low spot for the Yankees. They’re coming off an ugly blowout loss to the Giants, with Marcus Stroman giving up five runs in the first inning. It doesn’t get much worse than that—but I expect a bounce-back performance today.

Will Warren gets the start after a 5-4 loss to the Pirates in a game where he was a -161 favorite. He should fare better here, especially with this being the Giants' first look at him—typically an edge for the pitcher.

On the other side, Jordan Hicks is due for some regression. Despite a 5-4 win over the Mariners in his last start, he allowed six hits and two homers over 5.1 innings. The Yankees are 1-0 in his six career appearances against them, and I like their chances to get to him again.
