Miami can put pressure on defenses by putting the ball in play, but this is not an offense built around consistent home-run damage, ranking behind San Francisco in both slugging and home runs.

Lake Bachar is another major reason to like the under in this matchup. He enters with a sub-3.00 ERA and has been in excellent recent form, allowing just one earned run over 10.2 innings in June while striking out 13. In a pitcher-friendly park that naturally suppresses runs, the Giants will have to work extremely hard for every run tonight.
