San Francisco Giants vs Chicago Cubs (12:20pm)

Giants +1.5 is a strong play here. Robbie Ray (3-6, 4.45 ERA) has owned the Cubs throughout his career. He’s 3-1 with a 2.20 ERA in 7 appearances (including 3-0, 1.80 ERA in his last 5 starts vs. them) At Wrigley he’s been even better (1-1, 1.88 ERA, 0.92 WHIP in 4 prior starts) The lefty faces a Cubs lineup that’s struggled against southpaws (.721 OPS season-long).

On the flip side, Edward Cabrera (3-2, 4.00 ERA) is returning from a 15-day IL stint with a right middle finger blister. The same nagging issue that’s sidelined him before. His last 7 starts were shaky (5.06 ERA), command concerns and rust could lead to an early exit or extra baserunners.

The Giants just put up 12 runs in a win over Milwaukee. Their offense has shown enough life lately to keep games within one run. Cubs have been streaky (10-game win streak the a 10-game skid this year), while the Giants are 13-22 on the road but rarely get blown out when Ray takes the mound. Expect a one-run game or a Giants upset.

(2x-Rated Members Only) Pick: San Francisco Giants +1.5 (-125)

🍀Best of luck!
