Minnesota Timberwolves vs Boston Celtics (4:00pm)

Updated: Mar 7

The Timberwolves stand among the elite, boasting the West's top record, a commendable fifth-best Adjusted Net Rating (+5.3), and the league's best Adjusted Defensive Rating (109.6) Despite possessing offensive talents like Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota's offensive performance has been relatively lackluster as of late.

This season has seen Anthony Edwards truly blossom into a standout player, firmly establishing himself as a star in the league. Nevertheless, his performance last night didn't quite showcase his usual brilliance, as he managed only six points on 2-7 shooting and went 0-2 from beyond the arc. I'm projecting Edwards to have a huge game tonight against the Celtics. He's averaged over 27.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 6 games versus the Celtics in his career.

Jayson Tatum is coming back from his left ankle sprain, sportsbettors are in a hurry to bet the Celtics after finding out about the good news. However, this is one of my favorite times to fade a team. Sportsinsights is currently reporting over 74% of the tickets are on the Celtics and 79% of the money is on them as well. The spread opened up at -6 and has moved to -10 with news of Mike Conley being out and Jason Tatum playing.

There's no way the Celtics should be a -10 point favorite tonight, Minnesota won the first matchup with the Celtics because of their strong defensive play! The game went into overtime, and Minnesota only allowed 109 points! That's no surprise, as I'm convinced they have the best defense in the League. I believe they have another strong chance of winning this one straight up, but I don't forsee them losing by more than 6 points. Minnesota is 8-4 ATS in the last 12 games in non-conference games! Take the points!

Pick: Minnesota Timberwolves +10 (-110)

🍀Best of luck!
