Milwaukee Brewers vs Tampa Bay Rays (1:10pm)

I'm backing the Rays again today, as I give them a slight edge in the bullpen department. Tobias Myers has shown promise for the Brewers, especially after an impressive home win where he allowed just one run on six hits against the Astros. However, this could be a tough spot for him. He has limited experience against the Rays, which may present some challenges this afternoon. If he struggles early, Milwaukee will have to turn to its bullpen — a group that ranks 26th in the league, allowing over 4.88 runs and 1.38 walks per game. We saw the consequences of that just yesterday.

Despite losing seven of their last nine, I believe this is the right time to buy low on the Rays. Taj Bradley gets the start for Tampa Bay. He’s posted a 3-2 record with a 4.43 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP over 40+ innings. Bradley comes into this one in strong form, having just held the Yankees to two runs in a winning effort. The Rays have also covered the run line in 11 of their last 19 games (showing an 11% ROI), and hit on the moneyline in 8 of their last 15 (with an 8% ROI).
