Milwaukee Brewers vs Las Vegas Athletics (6:05pm)

I like the Athletics to beat the Brewers tonight because this matchup sets up perfectly for their current offensive strengths. Las Vegas Ballpark has played like a launching pad, and the A’s lineup has adjusted faster than Milwaukee’s staff. Oakland has already blasted 12 home runs in the first two games of this series (seven in Game 1 and five more in last night’s 7-5 win) showing real power upside in this park.

The pitching matchup is basically a wash on paper, but I give Oakland the edge because Brandon Sproat has been extremely hittable with a 6.17 ERA and 1.56 WHIP, while Jack Perkins at least brings a better WHIP profile at 1.28 with strong strikeout ability. In a game with a massive 14.5 total, I want the team with more instant offense and the lineup that can flip the scoreboard with one swing.

Betting market also supports the A’s being a live dog. Despite Milwaukee having the better overall record, this line is sitting near pick’em, which tells me the market is respecting the A’s power, park edge, and matchup. Milwaukee is the better team, but this is a spot play. The A’s have the hotter power bats, better park fit, and enough market respect to justify backing them at home.

🍀Best of luck!
