This game gives us a great opportunity to back a team hungry to even up the series with a win this afternoon. The Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to bounce back after a 116-104 loss to the Timberwolves on Friday. Despite shooting a decent 42.5% from deep, the Lakers couldn't overcome 19 turnovers, ultimately fumbling the game away in the final minutes.

I don't expect the Lakers’ shooting struggles to continue, especially given how well they had been performing from three over the past few months. Plus, the Timberwolves have had consistent issues defending the three-point line. I’m betting on the law of averages working in our favor, especially with Luka Doncic eager to redeem himself after a rough 6-for-16 shooting night, including just 2-of-8 from deep.

The Lakers also have strong trends on their side — they've won three of their last four games as underdogs against Western Conference teams following a loss and have covered the spread in seven of their last eight games in the same spot.
