Despite recent tough losses to the Red Sox and Orioles, I anticipate a strong rebound in this series against the Braves. Carlos Rodon will start for New York, carrying a 9-2 record with a 3.28 ERA and 81 strikeouts this season. He's been particularly dominant at home, with a 2.30 ERA and a .182 allowed batting average over 31.1 innings. On the other hand, Chris Sale has won seven straight starts but has struggled recently, posting a 1-1 record with a 6.00 ERA in his last three outings. In his career against the Yankees, Sale is 6-9 with a 3.12 ERA in 22 appearances. Betting on the Braves at this price seems risky to me. I’m siding with the Yankees as the home underdog, especially against a pitcher they've historically performed well against. Additionally, the Yankees have won five of their last six games as underdogs after playing the previous day.
