Boston Celtics vs Sacramento Kings (7:00pm)

Updated: Mar 7

I've just discovered a perfect stocking stuffer for tonight! Winter happens to be one of my preferred seasons for sports betting. The intensity of sports betting tends to rise as people unwind during their vacations and holidays. It's that time of year when everyone can finally relax and have some fun. However, it's worth noting that this is often when the odds are sharpest. This month, we've had considerable success, hitting over 82% of our bets by following one of my most profitable strategies: Fading the Public.

Now, let's zoom in on a crucial aspect of tonight's matchup: Jason Tatum. He experienced a brief injury last night but returned after rolling his ankle. It was a positive sign for Boston that he was back for the second quarter, but he seemed to adopt a more passive playing style. Both Tatum and Horford have been ruled out after playing 40+ minutes in Tuesday's OT loss at Chase Center. This is a significant blow to the Celtics, especially since Tatum was the standout player in their last game against the Kings, scoring over 36 points in a 132-109 blowout win back in March. It will be challenging for the Celtics to replicate that scoring performance without him.

While the Sacramento Kings are averaging 118.2 points per game, ranking 7th in the league, they haven't faced a defense as good as the Celtics. In their last five matchups, the Kings have failed to score over 109 points against the Celtics, and I don't expect them to score much tonight. The Kings' chances of winning hinge on their defense. With a 6-1 record with a rest advantage this season and a 10-3 record at home, Sacramento is well-positioned to pull out a win with the fresher legs.

My projections align closely with the oddsmakers, suggesting a combined total of 232 points. Given the interconnected variables in this game, I see this as an opportune spot for an Under. Look for the Kings to cool off after scoring 144+ points against the Washington Wizards.

An additional noteworthy stat: the Under is 10-1 in the Kings' last 11 games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game.

Pick: Under 236 (-110)

🍀Best of luck!
