Washington Nationals vs New York Mets (10:10am)
The Nationals/Mets game opened up at 8.5 (-130) but you can find that some shops have moved the number to 9. This tells me that some shops are still comfortable taking money on the Over by them not adjusting their odds. Cris opened the Under at 9 (-130) yesterday around 1:00pm and I noticed that the total was quickly adjusted the total to 8.5u +100. Public money typically won't move a number or that quickly so I think they could have received some sharp action yesterday during the afternoon.
I refuse to believe that any Sportsbook/Bookie would want to help their clients make money by sharing any information on how much money they are receiving for a game. They are in the business to take money from you, not to give it away! I have been documenting these tweets in last 180 days s and found they have won at a 48.4% clip. In this day and age I can see Sportsbooks easily using their social media to influence the market (sportsbettors) into betting what they have the most exposure on. I'm not saying they are all doing this but it's a real possibility.
The Mets will try to avoid a 4 game sweep by the Nationals this morning. The Nationals will have roughly a 48.92% chance of sweeping the Mets accord to MLBSweeps.com. Washington's bats are on fire in this series but I see them finally cooling off. Degrom will be on the mound the Mets and I'm predicting he pitches a gem another gem. Jacob Degrom is projected at 34.11 points by FanDuel and I think it will even go over that projection. His best work has always been displayed at Citi Field and today won't be no different. At home Degrom is 2-2 with a 3.35 ERA with over 37.2 innings under his belt this season. Degrom last week went 9 innings strong giving up only 1 earned on 5 hits!
I see Joe Ross have a bounce back game as well today. He's ranked 12th currently on pitchers to have in your lineups by Rotowire. Ross has typically done very well after getting yanked early the game prior. Ross only pitched 5.2 innings give days ago for a 10-5 loss to the Braves. You have to believe that he will pitch with a chip on his shoulder today and show some improvement.
Under is 4-1-1 in DeGroms last 6 home starts.
Projection: 4 Nationals 3 Mets
Best of luck!
