I'm fading the Orlando Magic in this matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. There is so much bad energy hovering over the Orlando Magic right now. If you guys haven't heard already, Serge Ibaka is being traded from the Orlando Magic to the Toronto Raptors for Terence Ross and their #1 pick in this upcoming draft.
Statistically the Spurs have the edge over the Magic in almost every aspect of the game. Magic's kryptonite this season is their ability to defend the three-pointer. Orlando's opponents are hitting over 37% behind the arc this season. This will not fair well with the Spur's offense who's shooting 40.4% from the three point line. The Magic are a subpar 5-11 team when they are an underdog playing at the Amway Center. Factor in that they are being outscored by a league-worst 10.6 points per 100 possessions and I find it hard to put a dollar on them. Look for the Spurs to get their sweet revenge tonight after losing 83-95 at home to the Magic on 11/29/16, where they shot only 34% from the field.
Best of luck!
