NBA Simulation Picks for Wednesday

Here are my NBA Simulation Picks for 2/1/17
Cavaliers -7 / Under 215.5
Public really backing the Timberwolves tonight? The Cavaliers recently lost to the Dallas Mavericks (Worst Team in the League) by 7 points and now are jumping off the bandwagon. This has been Cleveland's first losing month since 2006. Look for them to get a nice home win tonight against a young Timberwolves team.
Pacers -2 / Under 212
Pacers have now covered three of their last four matchups. Indiana has put together a nice three game winning streak by playing team defense. I look for the Pacers to keep this streak alive against a young Magic team that is only covering just 35% against the spread when playing at the Amway Center in Orlando. The Pacers showcased one of their best defense efforts against the Rockets this past week as they held Houston to shooting just 41% including 11 of 39 from behind the arc. Look for them to clamp things down against a Orlando team shooting just 44.2% from the field (Ranked 27th in PPG) Pacers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. Eastern Conference.
Heat +2 / Over 204
More than 78% of the public is on the Atlanta Hawks tonight! My systems and models has Miami favored by more than 5-6 points. We are getting tons of value tonight backing them as a small home favorite (-1.5) Atlanta has beaten Miami the last times two times they played so I feel this game could be a potential letdown for the Hawks. The Heat shot only 42.5% from the field last time they lost at Philips Arena so I'm expecting plenty of points from them tonight. My models is predicting a high scoring affair with the Heat sneaking away with a W. Heat are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a straight up win.
Knicks -2.5 / Under 223
The Brooklyn Nets have lost six games in a row and enter play on Wednesday with the worst record in the league. The Nets have just nine victories on the season and are 30 games below .500 overall. On Monday, Brooklyn managed just 19 points during the fourth quarter of a 104-96 road loss versus Miami. The Nets turned the ball over 16 times and shot 4-for-26 from long range. Fade Brooklyn. Take the Knicks as a small road favorite. Knicks are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games following a ATS loss.
Pelicans +6 / Under 213
Why do the oddsmakers have the Pistons as a 7.5 point favorite tonight? The Pistons are currently 4-6 ATS in the last 10 games and just 11-11 ATS at home this season. I feel the points is a gift tonight as my models are showing the Pelicans Orleans as the correct favorite in this matchup. New Orleans are definitely worth a look tonight as they have already beaten the Pistons twice this season. The Pelicans boasts a 4th ranked defense limiting their opponents to shooting just 42.5% from the field.
Mavericks -6.5 / Over 202
The Mavericks just recently beat the Spurs and Cavaliers and I think the line movement right now is telling me they are again the right side tonight. I see a great opportunity to fade the public tonight as more than 80% of money-line and spread wagers are coming in now for the Philadelphia 76'ers. Mavericks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games.
Clippers -2.5/ Under 219.5
The Clippers got destroyed by the Warriors this past weekend and had more than 4 days to prepare themselves for this game against the Suns. I'm predicting the Clippers to bounce back in a huge way this evening. Blake Griffin played 22 minutes against the Warriors and had himself a decent game shooting 9-14 from the field. I expected the Clippers to struggle with their first game with Griffin back but I fully expect him to get the job done and bring his team a victory when it's all said and done.
Thunder -3.5 / Under 207
This Thunder team is coming off a tough road loss last night but is heading home to bounce back tonight. Facing the up and down Bulls won't hurt OKC's chances as Chicago lack of consistent effort has been the sources of in-fighting in this Chicago team. On the year, Westbrook is averaging 30.8 points, 10.6 rebounds, 10.2 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Those are all team highs and they all make up one of the most ridiculous stat lines we’ve ever seen in NBA history. Thunder are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record.
Warriors -14 / Under 225
The Warriors have been on fire this past month and will face a Charlotte team that is on a back to back. Charlotte is lacking a scoring punch on the road and it will have their hands full tonight playing against a much more talented Golden State tonight. Golden State (41-7) has won three in a row and has wins in 10 of its last 11 games. Warriors are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up win.
Best of luck!
