Oakland Raiders vs Houston Texans (1:30pm)

36.5 points is the total set by the Oddsmakers for this AFC Wild Card game and I think it's the perfect number to bait the public into betting the Under. As of this morning I have seen the total hold steady at 36.5-37 points. This gives me reason to believe that they are happy with the action it's receiving on the Under. Consensus is showing over 60% of the public on the Under for this game and it's really hard to blame them.

It's tough to see the Raiders pulling off this miracle as they will need Cook to have a decent game throwing the ball against the Texans. If Oakland can get something going in their running game I believe it will open the field for Cook to make some simple passes. Texans should be able to score early and often on this Raiders defense. I'm expecting Houston to exploit the secondary today as Oakland is allowing majority of all their yards through the air.

I'm not expecting a shootout by any means but I feel both teams should generate atleast 40 points by the end of this game. I see a potential break out game by Texan's Quarterback Brock Osweiler as the public and maybe his team has written him off. The Raiders has experienced success with their running game and I believe they should score atleast 7 running touchdown. Take the Over.
