The Cleveland Indians have surprised many people including myself! They have now won 80+ games and is now leading the AL Central by 5.5 games! Flamethrower Trevor Bauer (10-6 3.70 ERA) will be on the mound making his 24th start this season for the Indians. Bauer has dominated the Astros in his career going 4-0 with a 0.67 ERA in four career starts. He will be pitching against David Paulino of the Houston Astros today.
Paulino will be making his first start this season as he was recently called up from the minor leagues. He's put up a low 2.0 ERA with 10.6 K/9 average in 90 innings of work. The Astros are 23-47 in their last 70 Thursday games, and 4-12 in their last 16 meetings in Cleveland.
The Houston Astros kept the game close last night and almost won but I don't think Paulino will be able to contain this Indian's offense today. Look for Bauer to continue his dominance over the Astros and get his team a comfortable win this morning.
Best of luck!
