San Francisco Giants vs Boston Redsox (4:05pm)

The San Francisco Giants will have veteran Matt Cain on the mound today taking on the #1 ranked offensive team in the big leagues the Redsox. Cain is 1-5 with a 5.34 ERA and has been on the DL since early June after injuring himself during a start against the Brewers. He will have a tough matchup today as he will face a hot Redsox team.

Boston will have Drew Pomeranz on the hill today, he's 8-7 with a 2.47 ERA. Pomeranz was recently acquired from the San Diego Padres. He has gone four straight games striking out at least 6 batters and having All-Star numbers this season.

The betting market is heavily favoring the under and the Redsox in this game. I decided to pass on the side because the juice was too high to get a fair return. I'm rolling with the Over for this game and I'm predicting 15-18 runs tonight. Cain coming back from injury should be a huge red flag for most under bettors. It will most likely take Cain a game of two before he's 100% confident with his stuff. The Over is 4-0-1 in Giants last 5 interleague games.
